Due to the natural structure of travertine rocks or stones, they inherently contain small holes on their surfaces. These holes can be left unfilled, as they often have a decorative appearance. People have come to prefer travertine in its antique, weathered, and decorative split form.

Thanks to its easy application and long-lasting qualities, split-face travertine is the most preferred type among split stones. After installation, it won’t be affected by climate changes, ensuring that its color remains unchanged. Decorative split stones, including travertine, are commonly used for exterior decor applications such as façade cladding, garden wall stone cladding, fireplace chimneys, decorative walls around ponds, and stairwell walls.

Travertine split-face stones, typically in dimensions of 2.5-3×5-10xsb, are frequently used as interior wall cladding stones.
